For my Honors graduate show I displayed a series painted wooden discs. The colour discs were mounted on window wiper motors (from cars), spinning the paintings at a frame rate of 24 spins per second. A speed at which consecutive images appear to the human eye as motion. The colours are therefore not mixed on the painting surface, but formed in the eye of the viewer; blue and yellow segments on the painting becoming green when seen.
